Become part of an exciting and diverse research community focused on addressing the core global challenge of energy and climate transition

RESET Network members are individuals involved in economic and policy research, modeling, and evaluation or other activities related to energy and climate transition.

membership criteria

Membership is open to:

  • individual researchers or practitioners with a demonstrated record in economics, policy, or modelling relating to energy transitions and/or climate change mitigation
  • early-career researchers and practitioners with mentorship.

Members commit to uphold the vision and goals of the RESET Network, participate in Network activities, and adhere to the Network’s values and standards for integrity in research and engagement.

Access to a growing community of researchers and decision-makers focused on addressing the core global challenge of energy and climate transition.
Opportunities for collaboration across the RESET Network’s initiatives, including economic and policy research and evaluation, energy modeling, engagement, and training.
Free training and capacity building activities
(For Global South members) Eligibility to apply for research and travel grants, conditional on meeting specific requirements.
Showcasing work at Network events and through the Network’s website and communications
Accessing new collaboration and publication opportunities
Regular coordination meetings, a shared GitHub platform and active Discord channels where members can exchange insights and technical support
Participating in Network-only events
Listing your affiliation and using the RESET Network logo on research papers and presentations as a mark of quality
Voting rights in the selection of a member representative on the Advisory Group.
how to join

Become a Member

Becoming a member of the RESET Network requires a nomination from an existing member or an informal interview with our Network Director or a Regional Hub Leader.

The membership application can be filled out here and there is no fee to join. After the application is received, it is reviewed by the RESET Leadership Team, who may organise an informal interview with the applicant to discuss expectations and member benefits.

Membership is for a term of one calendar year and can be renewed.
